At Hanan Yanny Jewellery & Craft we produce modern jewellery, homeware & craft with a distinctive African flair. Our handmade designer jewellery includes contemporary, ethnic & recycled paper ranges whilst our home accessories focus on eco-design. Our studio in Cape Town, South Africa operates under strong ethical standards and fair trade practices. We supply retail stores who cater to the individualist.

We have become known for our innovative design and manufacture using a diverse range of materials. Our products are sold in exclusive boutiques and craft stores across the USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and Southern Africa, as well as having been sold at the Museum of Decorative Arts in the Louvre in Paris, at the George Pompidou Centre for Arts and Culture in Paris. They are featured in many international magazines, from Elle Décor to Vogue Living.

Hanan is Egyptian/British and has been designing since 1991. Her love of jewellery began when she discovered antique African beads in the ancient market of Omdurman whilst working with the United Nations refugee programme in Sudan. She has lived in Cape Town for 15 years where she established her business, providing training, support and employment for women from Cape Town's disadvantaged communities, many living with HIV/AIDS.

Having recently moved to the UK, production of her paper product range has been taken over by Wola Nani, a well-established and ethical Cape-Town based organisation that supports people living with HIV/AIDS.
