EXHIBITIONSThe Paper Jewellery Range was selected as part of the craft showcase at the World Summit for Sustainable Development in Johannesburg in 2002. It has been sold at Printemps Design in the George Pompidou Centre, Paris, and the Museum of Decorative Arts in the Louvre, Paris.The Craft Council of South Africa regularly features commissioned pieces from the paper range at its exhibitions.
From the Cape Craft and Design Institute The ICONIC CRAFT exhibition contains close on 100 hand crafted works created by craft artists in the Western Cape. Amongst the works on show are pieces made by 40 crafters recognised as ICONS by the Cape Craft & Design Institute and their peers in the Western Cape. The concept of ICONS is to acknowledge the craft-artists and entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the creative, economic and social health of the province; and who have excelled as designers, innovators, entrepreneurs, job creators, role models, trendsetters and/or leaders in the craft sector. Hanan Yanny is one of those ICONS in the jewellery field and her work will be on show at the exhibition. ICONIC CRAFT will be on show at Spier Wine Estate, Stellenbosch, from 27 November 2007 to 22 January 2008.
